Camp Wapo  August 6 -11

Campers will experience a place of grace to meet new friends, experience new activities, grow closer to God, and make memories that will last a lifetime. The week is packed with a variety of activities that are meant to impact kids in a meaningful way, taking them higher, wider, longer and deeper into the love of God and community with each other. Each day includes Bible study, chapel, cabin activities, free time, field games and campfire. Summer youth camp at Camp Wapo is a week youth will never forget!


Check-in  3:00 to 4:30pm Sunday, August 6th

Check-out 12:00pm closing worship on Friday August 11th. Family and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend. All campers should be picked up by 12:45pm.


LOCATION: Camp Wapo is just 42 miles from church and situated on a 22-acre peninsula between Lake Wapogasset and Bear Trap Lake near Amery, WI. Camp Wapo boasts two large retreat centers, a dining facility and welcome center, camp store, and several cabins.

New in 2023, Living Vine has an assigned week (Aug 6-11) for campers in grades 4-9. Each camper can request 2 bunkmates to ensure they end up in the same cabin, although church groups are placed together regardless.

boys cabins

Boys stay in the Hill Cabins (Nazareth, Antioch, Bethany, Salem, New Hebron, Luke’s Station, & Woodland).

  • Luke’s Place has 6 twin bunk beds with 1 bathroom
  • Antioch has 10 twin bunkbeds and 2 bathrooms
  • Woodland has 8 twin bunkbeds and 1 bathroom
  • All other cabins have 2 separate rooms with 4 twin bunk beds (sleeps 8) and 2 bathrooms
  • 1-2 Camp Counselors are assigned to each cabin

Girls stay in one of the 2 large lodge buildings.


CROSS FIRE CENTER

There are 8 rooms on each floor. Each room has 4 bunkbeds (7 twin and 1 queen), a bathroom with shower, toilet and 2 sinks. Each room has its own heat/ac controls.


ANDERSON HALL

There are 6 rooms on each floor. Each room has 2 bunk beds (3 twin, 1 queen) and bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. There are heat controls in each room.


A Camp Counselor is assigned to each bunk room.
